TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
