TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace. The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareThey offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it arrives.Accounts and PricingThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.InfrastructureThe speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this. The FSRA QuestionHere is the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.Welcome OfferTab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit. The complete breakdown, including the full fee table, tabtrade withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is here at tradetheday.com.
